What's On - Dance Lindyhop Balboa Foxtrot

The Edinburgh Jazz ‘n Jive Club offers Friday night live jazz music in a relaxed club house atmosphere, with a bar and an excellent, wooden dance floor. The music is generally suitable for dancing Foxtrot and Swing (Lindy Hop, Collegiate Shag, Balboa, Charleston, Boogie-Woogie). There is a good wooden dance floor, just the right amount of space and a brilliant atmosphere. Come along to listen to superb jazz and to dance the evening away!

The entry fee is generally £12 for non-members and £10 for members. Entry is free for accompanied children and accompanying carers. The fee can be paid at the door by card or cash. Special prices apply when we’re hosting parties and for events of the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival.

The main entrance is from Bangholm Terrace, with step-free access from Warriston Gardens corner Inverleith Row. The venue has an accessible toilet

Only a couple of events a year are ticketed (eg Christmas Party) and this is shown on the event, so if in doubt, please come along – there will be room.
