Volunteering for door duty is a fantastic way to:
During the first set, you'll be the friendly face welcoming everyone – a fantastic opportunity to meet new people and be part of creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start! You will get to greet every club member by name. You might even sneak in a little dance yourself while keeping an eye on the door.
The first break is a lively time, selling raffle tickets and adding to the fun of the evening. It's a great way to interact with everyone!
During the second set, you'll play a vital role in getting the raffle ready and cashing up – it's all part of making the night a success.
Once your door duty is done, you can fully relax and immerse yourself in the joy of the third set, whether that's hitting the dance floor or simply enjoying the music.
Just so you know, if you have evening commitments, like catching a bus, you'll definitely be finished with your door duties by 10pm (usually by 9:15/9:30pm), allowing you to enjoy most of the evening.
We'll team you up with an experienced volunteer who can show you the ropes, making it a fun and easy way to get involved. Volunteering is a fantastic way to contribute to our community, meet new friends, and enjoy a great night of music and dancing from a unique perspective.
